Sally Clark, director of the film “Cowgirls” will answer questions about the making of her film

March 9th, 6:00PM at The Hooker Dunham Theater -- [directions]
A special interview with Marlo Poras, director of “Mai’s America” will take place after the screening of her film.

March 14th, 6:00PM at The Hooker Dunham Theater -- [directions]
Dr. Corinn Columpar will talk about and introduce the mini “Varda Film Festival.Varda films being screened that evening are “The Gleaners And I” and “Two Years Later”.

March 15th, 6:00PM at The Hooker Dunham Theater -- [directions]
“Heart and Soul: Bringing Vision to the Visual.”
Before the showing of “One in Nine” and “Someone Sang for Me”, filmmaker Lisa Merton will moderate a panel with filmmakers Julie Akeret, Diane Cotting and Nora Jacobson. The panel will offer insight into the challenge of maintaining a vision through dealing with all of the elements of getting a film on to the screen.

March 22nd, 6:00PM at The Hooker Dunham Theater -- [directions]
“Growing Up Female: The Young Woman’s Journey.”
Dr. Amy Angell, Professor of Liberal Studies at Vermont College as moderator will join female high school panelists from the community to discuss adolescene. This panel will address the issues, opportunities and resources for young women during this tumultuous time of life. This event precedes the showing of “Uphill All The Way”.
