Body & Soul: Diana & Kathy

A moving portrait of two women with disabilities who 35 years ago decided they would live non-institutionalized, independent lives. Spurred on by their love and commitment to each other, they become leaders in advocating for the rights of the disabled, earning them the Illinois Governor's Human Rights Award. The filmmaker is a previous Academy Award nominee for "The Collector of Bedford Street".
